Slow down. Tune in. Let go. Wake up.
– Nik Robson
Yin Yoga is a simple and gentle practice for every body and a great compliment to any other form of Yoga and our overall Yang lifestyle. In Yin Yoga, poses are held for multiple minutes with no muscular effort. Instead the goal is to fully relax into the pose and allow the body to sink deeper merely by the force of gravity. Yin Yoga creates space to truly slow down and tune in with the body and mind.
Yin Yoga holds a truly special place in Sabrina’s heart. It is through Yin Yoga that she learnt to slow down and connect body and mind. Sabrina is convinced that everybody can benefit from a Yin Yoga practice.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga has grown to become one of the most popular Yoga forms of today. Vinyasa Flow is a smooth physical practice that connects one asana (physical posture) to the next using the breath. These seemless transitions allow the practice to be either very graceful and more restorative or to create heat in the body and allow for a more dynamic physical practice.
Depending on the students infront of her, Sabrina’s Vinyasa Flow classes can vary from being more dynamic and physically challenging or be a more slow-paced but nonetheless strengthening Yoga practice. However, her classes are open to everyone and do not require prior knowledge or experience.
For most of us, the immensity of our minds is completely overwhelming. Even when aware of it, we feel unable to deal with it. The practice of Meditation, which is the ultimate practice after all Asana (physical practice) and Pranayama (breath work), allows us to experience the quiet and relaxation we long for. There is various forms of Meditation, for example breath awareness, mantra meditation or visual meditations.
Every class Sabrina teaches will close with a short Meditation practice. Upon request, Sabrina offers full introductory classes and workshops around the practice of Meditation.
